Vasse River Chardonnay
A deep golden colour with a well defined rim, this wine shows excellent aromas of melon, apricot and peaches with a toasty oak finish. A full palate dominated by peaches and melon. The oak is well integrated and adds weight to the wine. A clean and smooth finish allows the wine to end on the palate long and full. Winemakers suggested accompaniment with food. An excellent chicken dish to sharpen the senses.

First vintaged in 2002, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon draws on fruit sourced predominantly from the Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek, to create a consistently impressive style and quality.
Matured for 15 months in old French and American oak, this supple, elegant and beautifully aromatic wine shows classic blackcurrant and cedar characters, supported by the gentle oak maturation that is so distinctively Penfolds.
Consistently well-regarded since launch, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the typical cellar-ability that all Penfolds wines are renowned for. It can be enjoyed upon release or cellared carefully for two to four years
